Farmers Market in City North at Desert Ridge Debuts

Farmers Market in City North at Desert Ridge Debuts.

Farmers Market in City North at Desert Ridge Phoenix, Arizona is scheduled to return Nov. 21 and Dec. 19, 2011.

About 60 vendors signed up to sell fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, plants, Alaskan fish, and other goods on the third Sunday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The site is 5515 E. Deer Valley Drive, near the Loop 101 and 56th Street, Phoenix.

According to the planners of this event it is expected to draw more than 200 visitors, many from northeast Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Desert Ridge and as far away as Anthem.

For three Sundays this fall, vendors such as the Alaskan Fish Company, Crooked Sky Farms, Boxed Green Certified Organics, Hom's Thai Garden Farms and Arizona Bread Company will sell at the market. A farmers market may just be the boost that City North needs, as City North has struggled financially in the down economy.

Desert Ridge real estate almost surrounds City North and it's great for the local residents and the children who will enjoy the sites, sounds, pony, and train rides. There is plenty for the adults to enjoy as well. Hi,
Good idea to video your local farmers market.
Very creative, I may borrow your idea next year, if it's okay with you.
Have a wonderful weekend!
